🇷🇺A Moment of Positivity: Ground terminals for the Russian "1440" satellite internet project showcased.
▪️The flagship "1440.ULTRA" is designed for speeds up to 700 Mbps and can operate both stationary and in motion. The casing has an IP67 rating for protection.
▪️The compact "1440.MINI," measuring 30x30 cm, offers speeds of around 100 Mbps and is a portable option for rescuers, emergency services, and expeditions.
▪️The "1440.ZEMLYA" terminal is currently being tested on Russian Railways (RZD) trains. It is designed to maintain connectivity while the train is moving at speeds up to 400 km/h.❗️ (We're not even sure where else you could possibly mount it - ⚡️)
"Bureau 1440" plans to launch 292 communication satellites into orbit by 2030, including backup units. The project to create a Russian low-orbit satellite constellation for broadband internet access is being funded as part of the national project "Data Economy": it is planned to allocate 102.8 billion rubles from the federal budget and 329 billion rubles of the company's own funds by 2030.
✨Oh, if only Russian satellite internet had been available in every home shelter a little sooner, many things would have progressed much faster.
