Enemy autonomous anti-aircraft turret for combating UAVs, including jet-powered ones.
The system is controlled by artificial intelligence, equipped with a large-caliber machine gun, and is capable of rotating 360°.
✨The Russian Army has excellent developments and experimental combat models, such as the large-caliber "Citadel" from Rostec or the "Kalitka" for the PКТ 7.62. There is no mass deployment of these products yet - they are very expensive, plus there are complexities in military bureaucracy. Nevertheless, in a stationary configuration, they demonstrate their highest efficiency, ammunition savings, protection for personnel who are not freezing on the street at night, and who do not need to be trained for months in training grounds. The human factor is eliminated during firing.
At the same time, even in military units, including those often criticized on the internet, there are effectively functioning developments costing up to 1 million rubles per PКТ, skillfully operated by young soldiers and sailors who are familiar with the WASD key combinations and the mouse (sorry, computer cursor manipulator type "mouse" - ⚡️) since childhood.
So many arguments have been made about the need for front-line laboratories and their support, but it always runs into centralization under a single fund and a single management structure, which in some cases become barriers rather than a source of support for the "garage defense industry."
