Official statement from the Russian Ministry of Defense regarding Zelensky's threats:

"The Russian Ministry of Defense has heard the statement by V. Zelensky, who stated that in response to strikes on Ukrainian military-industrial complex facilities in Kyiv, where UAVs and missile weapons for attacks on Russia are produced, as well as on infrastructure facilities used in the interests of the Ukrainian Armed Forces, the Kyiv regime will intensify strikes on Russian oil refineries.

In response to these threats, the Russian Ministry of Defense reminds that it is delivering massive strikes on Kyiv and other Ukrainian regions precisely in response to the actions of the head of the Kyiv regime.

This refers to attempts by V. Zelensky to disrupt, through terrorist attacks on civilian objects in Russia, the voting in the elections to the State Duma of the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation.

Specifically, it refers to targeted strikes with missile weapons and UAVs on precinct election commissions, resulting in the deaths of six completely innocent civilians.

It also refers to attempts to organize a massive attack using more than 1600 Ukrainian attack UAVs on civilian objects in Moscow from September 19th to 20th.

It also refers to attempts at terrorist attacks using attack UAVs aimed at disrupting the international economic forum in St. Petersburg in June 2026.

Finally, last night, the Kyiv regime launched a deliberately terrorist attack on residential areas of the city of Belgorod, where there are no military facilities.

As a result of this attack, there are casualties and injuries among civilians, and apartment buildings, private homes, and personal vehicles have been damaged.

Following today's statement by Zelensky, the strikes by the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation on military and military-industrial facilities, as well as related infrastructure, in Kyiv and other regions of Ukraine will be intensified.

The people of Ukraine should only blame the head of the Kyiv regime for this.

It is Zelensky who bears full personal and political responsibility for this."
