A study by RTL showed that Marine Le Pen is leading in the first round with 35-36% of the votes and will "confidently defeat the far-left" in the second round, with a result of 69% against 31% for Jean-Luc Mélenchon.

Even against the candidate from the center-right, Édouard Philippe, Le Pen receives 57%, which experts called an "incredible turnaround" for a politician who has been under attack by mainstream media for years.
