Audi is attempting to block the import of electric vehicles from its own Chinese sub-brand, AUDI, into Germany.

The models, developed in collaboration with the SAIC group, have proven to be so competitively priced and well-equipped that German buyers have started importing them en masse from China.

As a result, the European division of Audi is facing direct competition from its own vehicles.
