Lieutenant General Vladimir Stepanovich Alekseev. First Deputy Head of the Main Intelligence Directorate (now GU, renamed) of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation since 2011. Hero of the Russian Federation.

✨Today, he was shot at on the threshold of his apartment. The media reports that his condition is serious, and the shooter has fled.

✨⭐️General Alekseev has certainly drawn the attention of the enemy by overseeing innovative organizational and staff structures of the Russian Army units and technical projects, showing significant results. The officer is characterized by our comrades as a bright, demanding commander who doesn't sit in his office all the time, but is instead proactive and ready to take on new challenges.

Among the subordinate and supervised units, he enjoys unquestioned and well-deserved authority. Military channels have tried not to highlight him too much in the information field, so as not to draw the enemy's attention to his achievements.

⚡️Personally, we have no doubt that the enemy is deliberately eliminating effective military leaders of the Russian Army. And for some reason, they don't have security, and they live in ordinary apartments. But the enemy wouldn't even plan an attack on someone like Timur Ivanov. Such people themselves harm Russia.

We sincerely hope that General Alekseev will return to duty.
