I’m laughing at my own attempt from yesterday night to redesign one of the concept versions of my OC Steinvein’s faceplate after I saw the classification of helmets following the Empurata procedure in the pins.
(I had the idea that, in this version, her operation wasn’t fully completed because of some external circumstances, so her emotions remained, but became damaged; most likely her manipulators stayed intact, but her head was left cracked, with exposed wires showing.)

Of course, my character’s faceplate still isn’t officially defined even by me as the author yet. Because here I was inspired by the IDW comics, while in G1, as far as I know, there isn’t such a procedure at all.

Then I can’t help but remember my paranoid OC, Scattstrack. In his case, he did undergo the procedure, but considering that neither he nor Torment exist as fan characters in G1, it unintentionally creates the joke that they’re basically somebody’s troublesome kids among the G1 Transformers.
