On Sunday, Micky van de Ven was forced off with an injury during the Netherlands’ Nations League match against Serbia. The defender had to leave the pitch with a wrist injury. The left-footed defender challenged Luka Jović, who accidentally landed with his full weight on Van de Ven’s arm. As Xavi Hernández had already used all of his substitutions, the Netherlands had to finish the match with ten men. It remains to be seen how serious van de Ven’s injury is.
