👩🏻🦰 Moksha women from Tetiush uyezd in Kazan governorate. On their heads isn't a panga or a turban, but a chichera made from birchbark & covered with material on top. The lower edge was decorated with embroidery; the height of the headdress is about 20 cm & the top was bent so that there were round "horns" or "ears" on both sides. – This is how Vera Belitser describes the Moksha women lived on Tatar land.
