Here are the latest TON Wallet updates from January to March:
● Bitcoin and Ethereum in TON Wallet
Legendary assets are now available. You can buy, store and send them just as easily as any other tokens.
ETH is available as wETH — a TON-based token pegged a 1:1 to ETH.
BTC is available as cbBTC — a token backed 1:1 by Bitcoin.
● Stablecoin deposits from other networks 1:1
You can send USDC or USDT from networks such as Ethereum, Arbitrum, Base, Polygon, BSC, Tron and Solana, and assets are automatically converted at a 1:1 rate and credited as USDT on the TON network to your TON Wallet.
● Earn with BTC, ETH and USDT
New protocols are now available in the Earn section for BTC, ETH and USDT. One of the most competitive yields on the market for stablecoins — up to 18% APY.
Please note: 18% is an expected yield, based on the average annual performance of the Re7 DeFi strategy over the past 5 years. We discussed this in detail, along with strategies for stablecoins, in this post.
● Portfolio performance on the main screen
You can now track your portfolio performance directly from the home screen. Under your balance, you’ll see total performance for 24 hours and all time, as well as returns for each position and results for assets in the Earn section.
● Estimated value for Telegram gifts
TON Wallet now shows an estimated market price for Telegram gifts. The valuation is based on data from the Getgems marketplace and takes into account NFT rarity and attributes. The estimated value is displayed directly on the gift page in TON and USD.
● Clearer network fee calculation
When confirming a transaction, you now see the exact network fee and the amount of TON temporarily reserved to cover it. After the transaction is completed, any unused TON is automatically returned to your balance.
