TON is advancing two network upgrades, Config -123 and Config 30, addressing two distinct areas of the network: the on-chain infrastructure underlying Gram Wallet and TON’s overall network capacity.  The upgrades come as Telegram prepares to bring Gram Wallet natively into its user experience.
 
➡️Config -123 establishes a shared, upgradeable architecture for the wallet at the TON network level, allowing future changes to its underlying on-chain logic to be implemented through validator governance without requiring individual users to migrate their wallets.
 
As TON’s largest validator, TON Strategy plays a direct role in supporting the decentralized network and participates in governance decisions around changes to its underlying infrastructure, including the infrastructure supporting Gram Wallet.
 
➡️Config 30 separately addresses network performance and scale, with the upgrade expected to increase throughput by up to 30% and provide greater capacity as activity across TON grows.
Together, these upgrades advance two important components of network scale: an on-chain wallet architecture designed to evolve through decentralized governance, and greater capacity to support activity across TON.
