The Open Platform (TOP) has made a strategic investment in Akedo Games to foster game development for Telegram in the TON ecosystem.
The Akedo team has worked on popular titles like PUBG Mobile, League of Legends (LoL), AFK Arena, and Rise of Kingdoms.
Akedo's first game for Telegram, called Akedog, is set to launch on July 18th. According to The Block, the project aims to engage 900 million Telegram users. The size of the deal has not been disclosed.
Players will obtain Akedogs, their Telegram NFT pets, by clicking. These can be "collected, combined, raised, and traded to enhance their abilities in exciting battles," the team explained. Participants will compete to create the most powerful Akedog.
Popular clicker games on Telegram, such as Notcoin and Hamster Kombat, have grown significantly in recent months, with Hamster Kombat gathering over 250 million users. These games allow players to earn TON tokens by completing simple tasks, such as clicking on the screen.

The community has noticed that the popular games mentioned above have different publishers, and the company does not appear in Google search.
Their news channel on Telegram is not indexed in search due to bot manipulation, and the number of reactions on posts exceeds its number of views.
