In its June update, Telegram introduced a convenient way to shrink mini-apps into a compact panel, added hashtag and location search capabilities to "Stories", and a new link widget. Content creators can further monetize their channels through paid photos and videos.

Starting today, mini-app developers and content creators can use earned Stars to receive rewards in Toncoin or purchase Telegram advertising at special discounts.

⭐️Mini-App Panel
Every month, over 500 million Telegram users interact with mini-apps for purchasing goods, accessing services, and playing games. Now, these apps can be collapsed into a panel at the bottom of the screen. Now, clicking on a hashtag in any story will show search results for that tag from public stories.

⭐️Location Search in Stories
Add location tags to your stories so users can see it. These tags allow users to view public stories from that location.
Private stories never appear in search results. Only eligible stories will appear in hashtag or location searches.

Premium users can promote a link by adding a stylish preview on a photo or video, on a light or dark background. The link widget can have a custom name to replace the URL text in the preview.

⭐️Rewards for Content Creators and Developers
Bot developers and content creators can now use earned Stars to receive rewards in Toncoin or purchase Telegram advertising. The commission rate is close to zero, so only taxes and payment system fees apply. When transferring Stars to the Telegram advertising account, Telegram adds a 30% discount to cover all third-party payment system fees.
