Ledger Hardware Wallet now supports TON and its network tokens. Though users cannot create a TON account directly in Ledger Live, this should be fixed eventually.
Earlier, you might have seen the stories of Anatoly Makosov, where he shows how Ledger hardware wallets were tested.
Ledger has also released a short guide, in which you will find step-by-step instructions for storing and managing Toncoin and other TON tokens (Jettons) in Ledger and the hardware MyTonWallet.
You can also store your TON NFTs on Ledger devices, but they won't show up in your wallet because this functionality hasn't been deployed yet.
"The Open Network and Ledger share similar values when it comes to the right to privacy and the commitment to giving everyone freedom of money. Now, TON users can ensure they have access to uncompromising security as well as privacy. With direct access to the Telegram ecosystem via TON, this partnership will also benefit millions of Ledger users," says Carl Anderson, vice president of engineering at Ledger."
Previously, TON became available on hardware wallets such as SafePal and Tangem.
With every new update, development, and partnership, the TON ecosystem becomes more robust and appealing to users. Although not yet perfect, TON will unravel its fullest potential in the near future!
