Tonkeeper introduces a ground-breaking innovation that sets a new bar for all crypto wallets everywhere: on-chain second factor authentication for TON wallets with Telegram.

How it works

1. Open Tonkeeper Pro.
2. Turn on 2FA in the wallet settings.
3. Link it with @tonkeeper bot in Telegram.

When 2FA is enabled, all your transfers require two signatures: one from your Tonkeeper, plus one from the bot. The bot sends you a confirmation request with buttons to approve or cancel the transaction.

You can turn 2FA on and off at any time. 2FA works with modern W5 wallets. Available only in Tonkeeper Pro while in beta.

🔐Tonkeeper Supports Ledger via USB or Bluetooth on Android

Hey friends, Tonkeeper now supports Ledger integration on Android, offering both USB and Bluetooth options for added security and flexibility. Additionally, you can now import wallets using 12-word or 24-word mnemonic seed phrases when setting up or restoring their accounts.

Connecting via USB

1. Plug in your Ledger device using a USB-C cable.
2. Open Tonkeeper and select "Pair with Ledger."
3. Choose USB as the connection method.
4. Unlock your Ledger and open the TON app on the device.
5. Confirm the connection in Tonkeeper and proceed with transactions.

Connecting via Bluetooth

1. Turn on Bluetooth on your Android device and your Ledger.
2. Open Tonkeeper and select "Pair with Ledger."
3. Choose Bluetooth as the connection method.
4. Unlock your Ledger and open the TON app.
5. Confirm the connection request when prompted.

Once connected, you can use Ledger to sign transactions directly from Tonkeeper while keeping your private keys offline.

⚙️ Support for 12-Word Mnemonic Seed Phrases

You can also import wallets using either 12-word or 24-word seed phrases, providing more options when setting up or restoring accounts.

1. Open Tonkeeper and select "Existing Wallet" from the main menu.
2. Choose "Import wallet with a secret recovery phrase."
3. Enter your 12-word or 24-word seed phrase in the provided field.
4. Confirm the import and wait for Tonkeeper to restore your wallet.

Ledger support via USB and Bluetooth, along with 12-word mnemonic seed phrase imports, is now available in the latest Tonkeeper update on Android.

Scammers are tricking users by sending testnet TON instead of mainnet TON, making it seem like a legitimate payment. Once the victim sends crypto or an item in return, the scammer disappears—leaving them with worthless testnet funds.

How to Protect Yourself:

🔹 Check if your wallet is on the mainnet. Testnet and mainnet are completely separate networks—you cannot send funds between them.
🔹 Verify your wallet address format. Mainnet addresses always start with UQ or EQ, while testnet addresses start with 0Q or KQ.
