🚨 New Scam Alert: Fake Offer Names on Telegram Gifts.

There’s a new type of scam going around that targets Telegram gift holders, and it’s sneakier than you think.


Here’s how it works:

The scammer changes their display name to a long string of text that mimics the offer notification message. So when you glance at the offer, it looks like you’re getting a massive payout.

Look at this image closely. At first glance, it seems like someone is offering 22,339 TON (around $30,001 USD) for a Plush Pepe #567 gift. Sounds like a great deal, right?

Wrong. That’s not the actual offer. That’s just the scammer’s display name.

The scammer renamed himself to: “Mike_NFTnft offered you 22,339 TON (~30,001.27 USD) and as a fee”

That fake name blends right into the real offer text below it, making the whole thing read like one seamless message. But if you look carefully, the only real offer is 125 Stars, which is worth less than $2 💀

So the scammer is banking on you seeing “$30K” and rushing to hit Accept without reading the details properly.


How to protect yourself:

Always read the full offer message carefully before accepting anything. The actual offer amount is shown after “offered you” in the real system text, not in the sender’s name. Check the name separately from the offer details. If something looks too good to be true, it probably is. Slow down and look again. And when in doubt, just reject it, or ask questions in our community if you’re not sure what to do.
