TON mining industry continues to grow and evolve. Total hashrate has already exceeded 100 Th/s, meaning that since the beginning of this year, interest in Toncoin mining has grown thousands of times.

There are already 40 forks in the repository with the source code of the standard miner, and the number of repo views has reached 300K.

New mining software:

1. Hive OS Miner

Hive OS is a Linux-based operating system used by professional miners. Now you can mine Toncoin on Hive OS using OpenCL or CUDA. And of course the miner is available in open-source.

This is a useful addition to existing miners for Linux and Windows with CUDA or OpenCL.

Despite the fact that the mining software development is not the primary target of the TON Foundation, our developers devote their time and energy to make mining more accessible for everyone.

2. Mining pool by the Ton Whales team

Last month, a third-party development team launched the first mining pool in TON.

Now users with weak hardware can unite their forces and mine Toncoin, with rewards distributed proportionally to their input.

During this time, the pool managed to collect thousands of participants and claimed a significant share in the overall mining hash rate.

TON Foundation has received the pool source code for the review. We see that new professional developers and entrepreneurs are coming to the TON ecosystem, and they are successfully launching their services.
