Believers.ton — A community-driven effort to bring more transparent and predictable Toncoin tokenomics

As you know, the community is continuously working on systematic actions to amplify the TON tokenomics, which started with decentralized distribution through mining.

So far, the community reached multiple important milestones:

— Created a fund and reserve of more than 550M TON
— Nominators were established, bringing the number of validators to over 300 and the total stake employed in validation to over 450M TON
— Implemented a community proposal to optimize tokenomics, affecting 1.081B TON
— Launched a mechanism to burn a portion of the network fees

A new Believers.ton initiative has recently emerged in the community, allowing users to lock their Toncoins into the Believers.ton smart contract for five years, while other users can donate Toncoins, rewarding those who have locked their coins. The more coins are locked in the smart contract, the more transparent and predictable tokenomics become, which is vital for developing the network and attracting new participants.

We have audited and tested this smart contract at the community's request. The smart contract is fully autonomous and guarantees the described functionality.

This effort is an excellent example of how the TON community can organize itself. An excellent community-driven effort, where individual community members encourage and reward each other for contributing towards the greater good. This initiative has a significant potential to positively impact the future of TON, especially if large holders participate.

As proof of our deep interest in this effort and based on the results of the last community survey, the TON Foundation will support it by sending 1 million TON from the TON reserve to reward depositors.
