@TonMarketCapWhat's the gist behind the tweet guys?
I believe this is a wrong move. They likely want to avoid any association between tokens and "Cocoon", but banning a community-owned token and triggering panic selling is unfair and will continue to negatively impact the meme culture on TON.
Following the incidents with stickers, other tokens, and now Cocoon, many are already calling TON a centralized network due to excessive intervention and a small group of admins controlling key decisions. This perception is damaging.
Itβs just a meme token that people were enjoying and vibing with. TF should have ignored it instead, the ban has only drawn more attention to the token.
BNB had community-driven tokens like TEST, Broccoli, etc. This kind of experimentation should be encouraged, not punished (also on Solana people launched some Cocoons. Will they also write to Raydium and Pumpswap to ban them?)
