To add to what is said above, the best modern eclectic texts (the "critical text" which is the Greek NT basis for modern bible versions such as the ESV, NASB, NIV, etc) simply have no proven existence within transmissional history. The Nestle-Aland (NA28 and previous revisions) Greek text *does not exist* in manuscript history.
It is a "Frankenstein text” possessing no support for even short stretches of text (and sometimes within a single verse) among manuscript, versional, or patristic witnesses. The problem deteriorates further as the scope of sequential variation increases.
