Women make a net-negative lifetime economic contribution, but they contribute more than they consume in terms of "unpaid labor" (housework, caring for children, etc., valued at market wages in this paper).
In reality, they are already compensated for this "unpaid" labor via their husbands' financial support.
Rather than forcibly taking money from men collectively, which impedes their individual abilities to subsidize their own wives, we should abolish collective wealth transfers from men to women entirely. This would enable us to reduce taxes significantly.
