Widespread adoption of police bodycams unveiled the much maligned average American cop to be a well meaning, if slightly retarded, individual who is genuinely trying to fight crime, and the average British cop to be a sadistic psychopath fit for the NKVD, whose motive for joining the police is living out violent power fantasies.
