ggwp to those who sold their points for $5 to 7

now its going till $30 to $50 per 1 $VAR point, after $61.8m raised, especially after now that perp dex meta is back:
- $HYPE reached ath, flipped $SOL in fdv
- $LIT listed on robinhood, both pumping

however, @variational_io still early, tge likely q3, q4

please run your own numbers but here's mine:

- current issued points: ~6.15M
- weekly issuance: ~150K
- tge expected: Q3-Q4 2026 (~21 weeks out)
- projected total points at TGE: ~9.3M
- projected FDV: $800M-$1B+
- at 25% airdrop allocation and $800M FDV: ~$21.50 per point base case
- points OTC was clearing $5-7 just weeks ago.
- after the $50M @dragonfly_xyz raise, that floor looks like it will get repriced fast
- $200m mc with an avg of $3m fees per month/$36m annualized, gives us a 5.55x MC/fee multiple.

here's one of the strategies i employ for max points:
- team clearly weights OI heavily, 5% of weekly volume typically translates to less than 0.5% of weekly points share.
- find a small-cap market with ~100K open interest
- open a 50K long
- hedge with a short on a correlated asset
- hold delta-neutral for the week
- rotate into new pairs the following week

with RWA markets now live, the same strategy extends to TradFi assets, long a stock spot, short the perp on Variational, collect the spread and the points simultaneously.

it's +EV three ways: the trade, the yield, and the airdrop.

use my ref code: for 12% more boosted points + bronze ranking: https://omni.variational.io/?ref=OMNINOX

Prediction markets are evolving beyond betting apps into financial, media, probability-data, and hedging infrastructure layers competing for liquidity and distribution.

The real battle is no longer Polymarket vs Kalshi, but rails vs wrappers controlling settlement credibility, attention, and user flow.

Here’s the TL;DR on how prediction markets are evolving into infrastructure stacks:

the stablecoin industry just crossed $300b supply and $33T in annual volume.

there are exactly 4 ways to make money in stablecoins:
yield. transfer fees. fx. adjacent services.

only one of them is printing obscene profits right now and almost nobody analyzing where does the money actually go?

understanding this tells you everything about where this market is heading.

here’s my business case analysis👇

1. the yield business is the most obscene profit engine in modern finance.
2. transfer fees are a trap and the data proves it.
3. apps are the most underappreciated insight in this entire space as they are capturing a disproportionate share of revenue and its not protocols or the chains.
4. the yield wars are already happening and most people haven’t priced in what comes next.
5. the token price dispersion means the market is waking up

We are now over half way into May and the thoughts of our traditional seasonality window of "sell in may, walk away" could be in effect here. The bulls have paused past week and now we are waiting to see if this market has topped. Atm price is consolidating but could be trying to form a double top as we see in the small cap index. Right now S&P and Nasdaq are sitting against its 13ema support which needs to hold if the bulls are to keep going. Im leaning more towards to the fence this is shaping out a dbl top though. One thing to note is that the VIX isnt pumping yet so there isnt a lot of fear yet, however US$ does look like its trying to form a bottom with its dbl bottom trying to come in. I think the trade deal with China didnt really help push the market and the oil war is still on going. I am in more in a defensive position now, looking to close profitable trades and reserving cash for the next wave.

BTC and ETH has topped out in the meantime. BTC failed against its 200 SMA and also tagged our 61.8 short RLZ. Clearly signs that the bulls are not ready yet here to break through. We got bearish divs on macd confirmed and overbought conditions hit. Now we wait to see whether we can hold the 38.2s just below and hopefully can consolidate. ETH keeps failing at its 38.2 first stop and like BTC, has multiple dbl tops confirmed with bearish divs on MACD. Retest of the lows back down into the RLZs would make sense. Need to see some consolidation for our next move.

ALTS had a decent rally in past couple weeks. Many names broke out but as BTC and ETH breaks down many are just coming right back down to the breakout levels. Retesting the lows once again and seeing whether we can actually hold vs breaking to new lows. This is probably the time to look at the names that have broken out and hunting their RLZs on the chance we do start consolidating again and breaking out on BTC and ETH. As of now, I am still holding onto the ALT names we picked couple weeks ago and waiting for the setups to play out.
