🇺🇸🇮🇷🇱🇰 — Sri Lanka says it has no immediate plans to assist 19 Iranian oil tankers stranded in international waters off its coast, despite reports of shortages of food, water and fuel.

The vessels have been stranded for months following the U.S. naval blockade of the Strait of Hormuz.

Sri Lankan authorities said they must prioritize national interests and consider the risk of potential U.S. secondary sanctions, although Washington has not issued any direct warning.
