Telecom Dept Warns Against SIM Card Fraud

The Department of Telecommunications has cautioned citizens against fraudulent SIM card issuance and tampering with IMEI numbers. Misuse can lead to up to three years imprisonment and a fine of ₹50 lakh. Citizens are advised to use the #SancharSaathi portal.
