Pakistan and Ethiopia have agreed to strengthen bilateral ties across defence, aviation, trade, and technology, marking a strategic expansion of Pakistan’s outreach toward Africa’s Horn region.

Senior officials from both sides met in Addis Ababa and announced plans to:

- Strengthen military cooperation, including training & defence production.

- Enhance aviation links, improving passenger and cargo connectivity.

- Expand economic & security coordination, building on growing diplomatic engagement.

✍️ Ethiopia’s strategic position near the Red Sea & Gulf of Aden offers Pakistan a foothold in a vital security corridor. Also, this may open new avenues for defence exports, including platforms like, JF-17s and UAVs.
