🇵🇰🇨🇳🇮🇷 ✈️ Iran Looking at China’s J-10s?
Following the recent spotlight on the J-10C’s capabilities in Pakistan’s service, reports indicate that Iran has been in discussions with China since 2025 regarding the potential acquisition of the Chengdu J-10C fighter jet.
Tehran is seeking to modernize an aging air force that still relies heavily on decades-old aircraft, making the J-10C an attractive and relatively affordable option compared to Western alternatives.
There have also been rumors and defense-industry discussions suggesting Iranian interest in the Pakistani-Chinese JF-17 Thunder, although no credible confirmation of a deal has emerged so far.
While an official J-10C purchase contract has not yet been publicly confirmed by either Beijing or Tehran, multiple reports indicate that Iran’s interest in the aircraft is serious and ongoing.
⚠️ At this stage, negotiations and interest appear credible, but final purchase details and delivery timelines remain unconfirmed.
