Just found an alternative to megadraft.
Lexical.
A completely different approach, super flexible, but also quite complex compared to megadraft. Yet it gives you everything you need, mentions, hashtags, custom plugins, you name it. UI is also "up to you".
Now it makes me think - megadraft is 20 min plug and play solution, lexical is better long term for scalability. Gotta really analyse which one to pick (quick dev time now vs long term extension benefits).
