Little by little discovering diferrent communities and initiatives for artists in Berlin. Recently found very nice one for everyone who speaks English. It’s a BBK Digital campus with lectures covering different topics such as managing your own artist studio community, exhibition planning and project development.

Found an old hard drive, when was finally saying goodbye to my Moscow period and packing up my things. Today I discovered some early experiments I’d made with human photography. It’s quite fascinating to look back at all of this 12 years later.

A few days ago in collaboration with Pole Zreniya school we finally started a new course exploring the territory - body - photography relationship. While researching the theme, I came across dozens of inspiring concepts, one of which was social architecture.

The term suggests that the connection between physical structures, such as cities and the human body — is inseparable from the realm of human relationships and social choreography. It proposes that the spaces we inhabit and the ways we relate to one another continuously shape each other.

Image from Jinyong Lian’s photographic series “Trust me” who works with the concept of social architecture.
