For those twisting & misusing Lamentations 4:8 to claim Jesus was Black or Brown or to claim the Hebrews were Brown or Black or to claim that any of them somehow originally had Black or Brown skin:

You are avoiding the context of Jeremiah 39:1 & 52:3-6, Lamentations 4:4-11 AND Lamentations chapter 4 verse 6, which all show that God punished them/the OT Hebrews by sending the Babylonian army's invasion into Judah for their wickedness/sins/many trespasses against God and their idolatry which led to Jerusalem's inhabitants dying of hunger. The siege of Jerusalem occured f Also, verse 9, which is the following verse after verse 8, shows that the Hebrews' faces became blackened because they were starving due to their "want of the fruits of the field" due to King Nebuchadnezzer's Babylonian army's siege of Jerusalem. The long siege As a result, the white skin of the OT Hebrews in Jerusalem was withered due to their severe hunger, were dying of hunger, and thus was blackened during the siege of Jerusalem due to their starvation/lack of food supplies that happened because the Babylonian army surrounded Jerusalem with forts & besieged it.

In conclusion, the Babylonian army's siege of Jerusalem resulted in/led to the lack of food in Jerusalem for its white skinned OT Hebrew inhabitants, which led to Jerusalem's starvation and to Jerusalem's inhabitants' dying of hunger and their white skin withering away into blackened skin.

Another proof from Scripture that the OT Hebrews and Jesus, were NOT Black or Brown and were NOT Black or Brown skinned BUT WERE ETHNICALLY WHITE and were WHITE skinned.
