Galatians 3:28 Biblically Explained
People will often twist Galatians 3:28's words to push and support racemixing and intermingling the various races/ethnic groups. However, both the verse's context and the verse itself destroys the unbiblical, false teaching of racemixing by showing that Paul himself knew that seperate races/ethno-nations still existed, in spite of the fact that believers are saved from hell.
Paul wrote his Epistle to the Galatians to the Galatians, which was a Greek speaking ethnic people group living in Galatia, which is in Asia Minor.
Galatians 1:1 1611 KJB
[1] Paul an Apostle, not of men, neither by man, but by Iesus Christ, and God the Father, who raised him frล the dead,
[2] And all the brethren which are with mee, vnto the Churches of Galatia:
Galatians 6:18 KJB
Brethren, the grace of our Lord Iesus Christ be with your spirit. Amen. Unto the Galatians, written from Rome.
The context/background verse of Galatians 3:26 is
Galatians 3:13-14. Both of these verses shows that those who believes on the resurrected Lord Jesus Christ are saved. Take note of the bolded words and underlined words below.
Galatians 3:13-14, 22-28 1611 KJB
[13] Christ hath redeemed vs from the curse of the Law, being made a curse for vs: for it is written, Cursed is euery one that hangeth on tree:
[14] That the blessing of Abraham might come on the Gentiles, through Iesus Christ: that wee might receiue the promise of the Spirit through faith.
[...]
[22] But the Scripture hath concluded all vnder sinne, that the promise by faith of Iesus Christ might be giuen to them that beleeue.
[23] But before faith came, wee were kept vnder the Law, shut vp vnto the faith, which should afterwards bee reuealed.
[24] Wherefore the Law was our Schoolemaster to bring vs vnto Christ, that we might be iustified by Faith.
[25] But after that Faith is come, we are no longer vnder a Schoolemaster.
26For ye are all the children of God by faith in Christ Iesus.
[27] For as many of you as haue bene baptized into Christ, haue put on Christ.
28There is neither Iewe, nor Greeke, there is neither bond nor free, there is neither male nor female: for ye are all one in Christ Iesus.
Conclusion: Each saved believer is still descended from a specific, ethnic group of people, and seperate nations are to exist seperately. At the same time, anybody that believes the biblical Lord Jesus Christ is God the Son in the flesh, that he died, was buried, and rose again, is a saved believer, yet is still physically of their own seperate ethnic group. God still recognized that people are physically of different ethnic groups that go back to Noah's sons. One of the next posts will explain what a race is and how they biblically came to be. Galatians 3:28 affirms seperate races/ethno-nations while showing that any believer on the risen, biblical Lord Jesus Christ is saved.
