I'm realizing now,

Revelation 4:6 is giving a hint to the idea of earth being a Glass medium to light.

"And before the throne there was a sea of glass like unto crystal"

Light is slowed when passing through a glass. Its called the rate of induction.

On this plane of inertia, this is the inert place meaning neutral, inactive, idea being the place of slowed light, which in the slowed state, gives us form.

Light out of its slowed state, and its normal rate of induction, is a different frequency, if you will.

Spiritually, induction means "advancement toward the grace of God."

And on earth, the glass medium, we would be in a slowed rate of light. Slow advancement toward the grace God.

In order to get to a place of more normal rate of light, we would need to remove the slowing mediums. Potential, the shards of glass lies. But full rate of induction wouldn't come until after our passing, and depending on how much glass removal was done in this slowed earth realm.
