I caught the first crescent moon after "new."

In ancient times and still in many traditions...the first crescent moon is called new moon.

The new moon (first crescent) is the beginning of the new month on many calendars, to this day.

Today would be the month of Taurus, day 1.

Taurus ♉️ is in the 3, spring constellations:

Aries ♈️
Taurus ♉️
Gemini ♊️

Taurus is a fixed sign. Fixed signs are fixed because they are in the middle of their season.

Aries--cardinal sign
Taurus--fixed sign
Gemini--mutable sign.

The sun rises 1 degree each day. Each set of 10 degrees of rising, is called a decan (deca, meaning 10). (Cardinals&Deacons)

The 3 Spring constellations are signs in which the Sun is rising up the vortex to its peak amount of hours in the day, and peak position the sky at noon.

Its rising to it's glory at the top of the circle. Glory meaning--the most amount of hours in the day....The Sun/Son is exalted, on high.

*When the moon is in “New” the sun and moon are in the same sign.
