💤 A rogue supertanker suffered an explosion and fire in its engine room this afternoon in the southern Strait of Hormuz after hitting a naval mine.

💤 This vessel, carrying crude oil and intending to exit the Strait of Hormuz, had turned off all its navigation systems and violated the regulations of the Strait of Hormuz. It encountered this incident due to passing through an unauthorized route.

💤 This is the third rogue tanker since yesterday that has hit naval mines in the unauthorized route of the Strait of Hormuz and caught fire.

❗️ The IRGC Navy announces: All vessels in the Strait of Hormuz area that turn off their navigation and identification systems will be identified as hostile and will be dealt with severely and decisively.
