Trump makes clear in a statement that he is setting the stage for a false flag event that he will be attributed to Iran.
He surely knows that their missiles do not go as far as California, but Americans are getting angry. They are waking up to the sacrifices the country makes on the whims of Israel. So the solution is obvious and all too familiar: stage an attack on US soil. Scare them into submission. Iran, who has never bombed schoolchildren, needs to be a bigger bad guy.
