Iran has struck an Emirati VLCC (very large crude carrier) anchored off the coast of Fujairah, United Arab Emirates.
It marks the second oil tanker struck by Iran beyond the Strait of Hormuz within just the past 24 hours. Targeting ships anchored at ports is a clear escalatory step, aimed at reducing illegal traffic.
