Far-right Israeli National Security Minister Itamar Ben-Gvir stormed veteran Palestinian detainee Hassan Salameh's cell and threatened to kill and execute him, according to footage he posted online.

Salameh, detained since 1996, is serving multiple life sentences and has spent 13 years in solitary confinement. The attack comes amid Israel's push to implement a law allowing the death penalty for Palestinian detainees.
