On March 21, 2024, he first teased his solo show “That’s Different” with an untitled artwork:

That artwork introduced a mysterious new female frog - a whimsical and emotionally rich evolution of the iconic Pepe the Frog. In the piece, she sits gracefully in a surreal setting, her expression calm yet thoughtful. Surrounded by blooming flowers and framed by flowing hair, the scene evokes themes of growth, femininity, and introspection. In the foreground, Matt’s hands are seen sketching a flower - symbolizing the creative process and her transformation as a character.

Then, exactly a year after the original teaser - on March 21, 2025, Matt posted another image of the same character, this time simply captioned with a 🌸 emoji, further suggesting the idea of her "blooming":

It’s now clear that this character is Strawberry in Bloom, as confirmed by Matt’s editor.
“Strawberry” reflects her playful, charming nature, while “In Bloom” signals emotional depth and transformation.

Matt waited an entire year to fully reveal her story. This isn’t just another character, Strawberry is set to be the emotional centerpiece and most important figure in his upcoming book.
