It seems that I only post Peterson here. May be because rare things make me think and resonate that much. In this video he brings several deep thoughts about relationships between man and woman.

I also found extremely interesting what he says about “the faith” in the last reason he provides – “faith is what makes movement in the unknown possible, and because unknown is the unknown, you cannot step into it without faith. It wouldn’t be unknown if you knew it, and if you knew it it would not require faith”. This applies not only to the marriage, but for everything that is “unknown” in our lifes.

“When you have something to say, silence is a lie” (keep reading Jordan B. Peterson’s book “12 Rules for life”)

Is a nerdy kid I used to be very disagreable and nice to people, and to the very large extent I still am. But running a business and managing a team of almost a hundred forced me to evolve. One of the things that I learned is that you should recognize small lies and "things that are not right" in your business relationships, and make them open. You should not avoid conflict, futhermore, you want to face it as soon as possible, before it damages business and people. I'm still not where I want to be in this area, and I still find myself avoiding conflicts.

I like how Jordan B. Peterson explains this in that video. Note the example of conscientious and disagreable person that he gives, it is really brilliant.

I rarely finish reading books that I start, though about a month ago I finished Alexander Etkind’s book “Nature's Evil: A Cultural History of Natural Resources”. I read it in Russian, and I hope its English translation is as good as original.

I liked how our common history is explained and analyzed through the prism of natural resources. How the physical and chemical qualities of each resource determine people’s life. How, in multiple cases, the resources that some region has, becomes a root cause of political system and struggles that people leaving in this region experience. It is very intellectually fulfilling reading.

When I was at the high school and university, I was fan of Queen band. This was the era of CD, and I had all their studio albums, including almost impossible to find in Moscow “Flash Gordon” and “Sheer Heart Attack”.

Today I stumbled upon this (https://youtu.be/oB4K0scMysc) song, that now sounds different than 25 years ago. This is the last video recording of Freddie, several months before his death. You can see how weak he was by that time. And “I still love you” was his last videotaped words. In this context, the song sounds even stronger.
