Technically the war would be over back in 2022 if someone stopped BoJo from telling Zelensky to exit the peace negotiations. Back then Ukraine proved to be a more serious enemy than Russia anticipated, and back then Ukraine could have saved God only knows how many lives. And yes - Putin was willing to talk back then because he was surprised how sturdy Ukraine turned out to be.

Even if BoJo wasn't stopped in April of 2022 - the war would be over by around early 2023 if the USA didn't provide any help to Ukraine since the very start. Which it did - and is still doing even right now. Trump's statements about Zelensky needed to quit his (overpaid and overcocained) presidential job sound dishonest, given these details.

I do wonder about one thing - why is he trying to pretend to be a peacemaker right now? What has changed?
