In the process of developing a decentralized exchange, we encountered a number of challenges that affected our work. We have deeply studied each of the cases to understand the causes of the problems and develop measures to prevent them in the future.
Below we examine in detail the key errors, their causes and the actions we are taking to ensure that this does not happen again.
🔹 Mistake #1: Weaknesses in smart contracts
What happened: Bugs in smart contracts for DEX and staking led to delays in delivering promised functionality.
Why it happened: There was no proper level of verification and testing, as well as a lack of experience in the development team. The developer who promised to implement staking at one time never did so. And he left the team.
Prevention measures: We have strengthened the team with experts in blockchain and smart contracts, and introduced strict auditing and testing processes at all stages of development.
🔹 Mistake #2: Internal conflicts
What happened: Internal conflicts and changes in team composition led to a slowdown in development and loss of focus on key tasks.
Why it happened: Insufficiently clear management and communication structure within the team.
Prevention measures: Implemented a new management structure with clear roles and responsibilities, improved internal communication and established conflict resolution rules. The team takes the project much more seriously, and not as a hobby, as it was initially.
🔹 Mistake #3: Problems with liquidity and token price
What happened: An unexpected sale of tokens by bloggers caused a sharp drop in the rate and problems with liquidity.
Why it happened: Failure to fulfill agreements with bloggers and insufficient risk management.
Prevention measures: We revised the approach to cooperation with bloggers, including long-term terms of cooperation and mechanisms for stabilizing the market.
🔹 Mistake #4: Not attracting enough investors
What happened: Limited budget due to lack of external investment limited opportunities for growth and development.
Why it happened: Insufficiently active work with investors and focus on the technical side of the project.
Prevention measures: We intensified work with potential investors and partners, developed attractive proposals for investment and strengthening our financial position.
❗️ We recognize that community trust is an asset that must be protected. The measures taken are aimed not only at correcting the mistakes made, but also at creating a solid foundation for the future development and prosperity of the exchange.
Your support and understanding are extremely important to us on this journey, and we thank you for it. The team has really undergone dramatic changes, the project has become technically more powerful and mature.
DEX 2.0 will be the starting point to the serious, highly profitable and secure product that we have always envisioned the exchange to be.
