Dear Mr. Davis,
Thank you for considering my application for an internship in Smith's Boilers. I look forward to learn from the expert designers of pressure vessels and hopefully be able to work as a junior engineer myself. I particularly find the standard regulations for designing pressure vessels quite fascinating and I cannot wait to witness the process of creating a long-lasting industrial vessel in person! Regarding your request for the application documents, I will attach my CV along with the letter of recommendation by my professor in process design 301. I also added a letter from the university approving of my eligiblity for the internship. Please let me know if any additional documents are required.
Sincerely,
Amin

I believe that the best way to reduce the harmful effects caused by fast fasion is to impose stricter rules on their manufacturers. For example, a manufacturer should be fined if they produce clothes with a carbon footprint that is beyond the regulated threshold. By applying these regulations these factories are held accountable and may reduce their release of plastics or other types of waste into the environment. The only downside to this method is that by reducing production, the demand for clothes rises which could lead to higher prices for the same type of clothes. This higher cost is actually compensated by better quality of the clothes themselves and improved worker conditions as Andrew pointed out. In the end it is our decision as consumers to pay a few extra for a better environment or sacrifce that for a discount.
