🛢️ The Iranian Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps Navy reported that the vessel, described as an “aggressor,” was attempting to cross the Strait of Hormuz via an unauthorized route, with its tracking and radar systems turned off.

💥 “Immediately after striking the mine, a massive explosion occurred in the engine room, causing the vessel to come to a complete stop,” stated the agency, which accused the vessel of trespassing.

🌊 The incident comes as Tehran has closed the Strait of Hormuz until U.S. aggression and interventions in the region cease. Iran is holding consultations with Oman, the other coastal state, to reach a regional agreement on the management of navigation.
