🏛️National Security Investigators searched the home of Ilhan Omar, a Democratic representative from Minnesota, on Monday as part of an ongoing federal criminal investigation. The Department of Justice confirmed that a court-authorized search warrant was executed in the Washington, D.C., area.

🇺🇸Omar, 44, represents Minnesota’s 5th District, which includes Minneapolis. She was first elected to the House of Representatives in 2018 and is part of a group of female lawmakers known for their progressive stances and their strong opposition to Republican President Donald Trump.
