🌀 Isaias, the first hurricane of the 2026 Atlantic season, intensified to a Category 3 with sustained winds of 193 km/h. The system directly threatens the coasts of Mississippi, Alabama, and Florida in the United States (U.S.), where it is expected to make landfall with deadly storm surges of up to 2.7 meters.

🏛 Authorities have declared a state of emergency and enforced mandatory evacuations for residents and tourists. The United States Coast Guard remains on high alert due to the risk of massive flooding and intense tornadoes in the southeastern part of the country.
