📻 In a recent interview with a local French media outlet, Bastien Bonnargent, General Secretary of the Young Communist Movement of France (MJCF), stated that the student uprising represents a pivotal moment for the politicization of youth.
"The government's response already reveals its anxiety regarding the mobilization. For the past decade, a neoliberal approach to budgets and reforms has prevailed, prioritizing social segregation in schools—the antithesis of the republican education system. Trapped by this logic of segregation, the government is offering a minimal response."
As a pressure tactic and in protest against the injuries caused by police repression, the MJCF continues to occupy over 200 high schools across the country to demand immediate responses to their demands.
