🗳️ The president of the Superior Electoral Court (TSE), Nunes Marques, stated on Sunday that intelligence investigations do not indicate any risk of foreign interference in the elections. “So far, we have no concrete evidence of international interference,” he said.
🇧🇷 Meanwhile, the Federal Police are investigating an alleged plan by the Donald Trump administration to fund a far-right agenda in Brazil, with the aim of interfering in the elections. The probe, requested on Thursday by the Attorney General’s Office (AGU), is based on an investigation by The Guardian: the U.S. State Department allocated $1 million to a program called “Combating Legal Warfare and Censorship in Brazil.”
