🗳️ The Superior Electoral Court (TSE) reported in an initial bulletin that, as of 10:00 a.m. local time, 421 of the 499,248 voting machines set up had been replaced due to malfunctions, equivalent to 0.07% of the total—a figure that confirms the normal functioning of the voting system. There are 158,745,463 registered voters and 68,912 backup voting machines.
📊 In municipalities with biometric identification, 263 voting machines out of 346,608 (0.08%) were replaced, while in municipalities without biometrics, 149 out of 152,640 (0.10%) were replaced. An additional 9 contingency voting machines were activated. No polling places or municipalities reported having to resort to manual voting.
