🚨 Federal Police: Elections in Brazil Are Proceeding Without Incidents That Disrupt Voting
🗳️ Federal Police Director General Andrei Rodrigues stated this Sunday that the electoral process is proceeding without disturbances and that the agency is committed to countering any attempt by organized crime to infiltrate the elections.
📋 By 11:30 a.m. local time, five police investigations had been opened and 12 detailed incident reports had been filed to investigate election crimes in 13 states, including Bahia, Minas Gerais, São Paulo, and Rio Grande do Sul. Among the main offenses are irregular election campaigns and electoral corruption, particularly vote-buying.
💰 So far, 48 people have been arrested, and assets and valuables worth approximately US$139,870 have been seized, including about US$66,105 in cash, according to the Federal Police.
