🚨 Red Alert in Peru: Extreme Heat Wave of Up to 35 °C Affects 21 Regions

🌡️ Peru’s National Meteorology and Hydrology Service (Senamhi) warned of daytime temperatures of up to 35 °C on the northern coast and 29 °C on the central coast, with wind gusts of 40 km/h. The alert remains in effect through Monday, October 5, and includes Lima, Callao, and Arequipa.

⚠️ Light cloud cover at midday will increase ultraviolet radiation, while scattered showers are expected along the northern coast. The agency attributed these conditions to the Coastal El Niño phenomenon.
